Founded by guitarist and entrepreneur Charles Carlini in 1995 to book and manage recording artists, as well as produce concerts, records and films, Carlini Group has since expanded into a versatile and fast-growing multimedia company comprising entertainment, music licensing, design, education, and hospitality divisions.
The New York-based company has worked globally – both independently and in association with the JVC Jazz Festival – with renowned artists such as Les Paul, Ennio Morricone, George Benson, Keith Emerson, Slash, Rick Wakeman, Ann Hampton Callaway, Andy Summers, Milton Nascimento, Pat Martino, Allan Holdsworth, Ray Barretto, Ron Carter, Lenny White, George Coleman, Blossom Dearie, John Scofield, and Alison Krauss among others. It also launched Clinic Crafters, a series of weekly music workshops with the participation of jazz greats, including Charlie Byrd, Herb Ellis, Billy Cobham and Tal Farlow.
Today, five distinct divisions form the multi-faceted Carlini Group. Its entertainment arm, In Touch Entertainment, continues to book and manage established and emerging recording artists, as well as promote and produce concerts and films in a variety of genres. Clinic Crafters is still running educational music workshops. Another division, an online music licensing marketplace called Synchsongs enables artists and others looking for musical content to conduct business in the safety of this forum.
Not related to the music business but still falling under our area of interest and expertise, Simply Charly and Hospitality Savvy are also encompassed under the Carlini Group umbrella. The former is an educational suite of websites focusing on the lives and works of prominent historical personalities of the arts, humanities, and the sciences. The latter offers our know-how and experience in all aspects of the restaurant industry, allowing our customers to optimize the running and performance of their restaurants.
