We All Love Ennio Morricone Tribute CD
This musical appreciation of the works of the legendary film score composer Ennio Morricone features contributions from artists as diverse as Bruce Springsteen and Celine Dion. Highlights include Pink Floyd member Roger Waters’ special composition, “Lost Boys Calling” opera singer Andrea Boccelli’s “Conradiana” and Metallica’s version of “Ecstasy of Gold” a cut that anyone who’s seen them live will recognize as their concert fanfare. Morricone himself composed several pieces of incidental instrumental music for this collection, which was released to coincide with his Honorary Oscar, given at the 79th Academy Awards in 2007.
